Seniors Buddy Shah and Madhan Srinivasan likely will not be forgotten at
Wyoming Seminary. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The name of their sophomore teammate, Jordan Koslosky, is one folks will
certainly get more acquainted with during the next couple of years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Koslosky, a sophomore, won all four of his matches in the Blue Knights' run
to the PIAA Team Tennis championship, concluding a season during which he
quietly went undefeated in the shadows of District 2's two best players. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 ``He's our unsung hero,'' said Seminary coach Charles Lull, who ended his
29th and final season with a 19-0 record and a title in the first-ever state
team tournament. ``He's always won convincingly. He's a quiet kid, but very
focused, like a surgeon. He goes about his business and plays extremely
well.'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Koslosky, who plays at No. 3 singles, defeated all of his PIAA foes in
straight sets. With his quick 6-1, 6-1 victory against Brian Beglin of
Wyomissing (19-1) in Saturday afternoon's final, Koslosky was the first Blue
Knight off the court, giving his team valuable early confidence. Seminary
rolled to a 5-0 victory against the District 3 champs. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 ``That gives you a boost,'' said Lull. ``What doesn't seem possible
suddenly seems possible.'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In the semifinal Saturday morning against District 11 champion Moravian
Academy (19-1), which has gone 64-1 in its previous 65 matches, Srinivasan
came up with a clutch victory at No. 2 singles. Srinivasan took on Chris
Balshi, a highly ranked Middle States player, and fought him off for a 7-5,
7-6 (7-5) victory. Srinivasan's only loss on the season was to Shah in the
District 2 singles final the week before. That came on a day on which he beat
tough Bishop Hafey freshman Mike Portanova in three sets in a semifinal, then
succumbed to his teammate in three sets. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 ``Most definitely, anytime a player goes through that type of experience,
facing defeat and a strong opponent with a lot at stake, that person grows,''
Lull said. ``Madhan was just like a rock. There were moments of small doubt,
but Madhan came through and gave us the point.'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The doubles teams of Tyler Morris and Eric Feinstein (No. 1) and Jason
Brown and Rob Isaacs (No. 2) went 3-1 during the state title run. All four
will be back. Morris is a junior and the rest are sophomores. They, along with
Koslosky and a few others, will be playing under a new coach. Lull endorsed
assistant Bill Van Der Sluys, a professor at Wilkes University, who will teach
at Seminary next school year. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Lull, in his final match, admitted he thought about the uneasy feelings of
closure experienced on Saturday as it became apparent he would go out on top. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 ``It occurred to me more than once that this was bringing the curtain
down,'' said Lull. ``Obviously, I was hoping for a win. But more importantly,
like I always tell them, I was hoping they'd walk off the court walking tall
knowing they'd played their best.'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
