WEST PITTSTON &#8212; The Greater Pittston Historical Society annual historic kayak trip will be held on Sunday, July 12. Everyone will meet at 9 a.m. near the Water Street Bridge in West Pittton. Reservations for kayaks are currently being taken by calling Endless Mountain Outfitters at 570-746-9140 or Susquehanna Kayak Rental at 570-388-6107.Rentals for kayaks are $65 for a single or $80 for a tandem. Participants may bring their own kayak and pay $25.Luncheon will be at the Coxton Archaeological Dig Site. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Greater Pittston Historical Society.The trip will be a little shorter this year, but those attending should plan on spending approximately five hours on the trip.
