 Dec. 22, 2001 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; nna J. (Germak) Gatcha, 85, of Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, formerly of
Plymouth Street, Edwardsville, died Saturday at home. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Born Sept. 26, 1916 in Edwardsville, she was a daughter of the late Andrew
and Elizabeth (Janosov) Germak. She was a 1934 graduate of the former
Edwardsville High School. She was a member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Roman
Catholic Church, Zerby Avenue, Edwardsville, and its Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a member and secretary of the Slovak Catholic Sokol Assembly 71,
Edwardsville, and secretary for Group 7, Slovak Catholic Sokol. She was a
volunteer at Retreat State Hospital, Hunlock Creek for several years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert M.; sister, Elizabeth
Backiel; and brothers, Andrew, John, Stephen and Michael. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are brothers, Joseph P. and George A., both at home; sisters,
Mary Broun, Florida; Helen Sroba, Trevose; and Margaret Novak, Swoyersville;
and several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the John V. Morris Funeral
Home, 625 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m.
in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Edwardsville. Interment
will be in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call
from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Altar and Rosary Society
of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church along with the Rev. Carl T.
Prushinski will recite the Rosary at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of Sts. Cyril and Methodius
