While in a large mart store I noticed a circular. My America: "What does
America mean to me?" That question never crossed my mind. Like others I take
this country for granted. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The first thought that comes to mind is the word freedom. The smell of
fresh-brewed coffee, a clear sunny day, a cool breeze in hot July, snow flakes
kissing the ground. America is all that plus much more. The American way
allows all of us the opportunity to earn your own way while enjoying the view,
the taste, the sheer joy of freedom. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; America means glory, the stars and stripes blowing in the wind where the
great eagle flies, wings spread wide. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 America is no accident. What if Adolf won the war? We'd all have a hairy
upper lip, high black boots and a crazy hair style. Because of the vets of
World War II, America also means sacrifice. Not to forget today's soldiers,
their sacrifice allows all of us to remain in this land of freedom where our
voice is heard and we need not whisper in fear of the Adolf-type overhearing. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
