The Gully Low Jazz Band will present ``Louis Armstrong, The Second
Century'' at the Houlihan-McLean Center at the University of Scranton at 7:30
tonight. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Presented by the University of Scranton Performing Arts Series and the
university's student organization United Colors, the free public performance
will celebrate Black History Month. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Inspired by Louis Armstrong and other musicians of the period, the Gully
Low Jazz Band is dedicated to preserving music of the 1920s and 1930s. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The band has made appearances at the Lincoln Center as well as jazz clubs
and societies throughout New York City and the East Coast. A 1986 Grammy
nominated group, its latest album, ``Blues in Our Heart,'' was released in
late 1999. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 You're not in Ohio anymore, `Wonderful Town' confirms &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes University's Department of Visual and Performing Arts will present
``Wonderful Town'' at the Edward Darling Jr. Theatre of the Dorothy Dickson
Darte Center for the Performing Arts at 8 p.m. Feb. 15. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Additional evening performances will take place Feb. 16, 22 and 23, and
matinees will be shown Feb. 17 and 24. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Based on the novel ``My Sister Eileen,'' the musical comedy has been
adapted for stage and follows the lives of two midwestern sisters in the 1930s
who move to New York City's Greenwich Village. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A no-nonsense writer, Ruth, played by Tiffany Smith, and an aspiring
actress, Eileen, played by Christie Gilbert, realize they are not in their
town in Ohio anymore. Their transition into the big city moves along with a
variety of unusual characters who find themselves involved with the sisters. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 General admission is $15. Senior-citizen and student tickets are $5. Wilkes
University students with ID will be admitted free. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
