First Posted: 5/22/2013 Attorney and Mrs. Victor Drosey, Hanover Township, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Joan Drosey, to Patrick Allen Keown, Owensboro, Ky.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Carl and Mercedes Leighton, Wilkes-Barre, and Victor and Elizabeth Drosey, Mountain Top.
Kathleen is a 2004 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and a 2008 graduate of King&#8217;s College with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in business administration. She is a former radio personality on Froggy 101 and is employed by Churchill Downs Incorporated as manager of events and entertainment in Louisville, Ky.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Fulkerson, Owensboro, Ky., and Mr. Roger Keown, Hawesville, Ky. He is the grandson of Ervin LeDuff and the late Linda LeDuff, Owensboro, Ky., and the late Stanley and Shirley Allen, Falls of Rough, Ky.
Patrick is a 2005 graduate of Apollo High School and a 2010 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in geography. He is a geographer/GIS analyst for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky.
The couple will exchange vows at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre, on June 29, 2013. Attorney and Mrs. Victor Drosey will host a reception at The Colonnade in Scranton following the ceremony.
