WILKES-BARRE - The Dunkin Donuts on Scott Street was robbed at gunpoint
early Monday morning by a man who crawled through the drive-through window and
ripped a phone from a wall as an employee tried to call 911, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Police said Eric Lawrence Angeles, 23, of Dexter Street, Hanover Township,
was apprehended by two officers who saw him running near the rear of the
building, carrying a handgun. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A woman who drove a getaway vehicle, Charity Dawn Massey, 26, of Butler
Street, Wilkes-Barre, was apprehended near Butler Street a short time later,
police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 According to police: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Massey drove Angeles to the doughnut shop with the intent of robbing it.
Angeles walked up to the drive-through window and asked for a coffee. The
clerk opened the window and Angeles pointed a handgun and demanded money. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The clerk retreated into the store and began to call 911. Angeles then
crawled through the window and ripped the phone from the wall. He took cash
from several registers and fled. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Police were alerted to the robbery by a dispatcher at the county's 911
center who reported hearing screaming before a phone line was disconnected. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Upon arrival, officers John Majikes and Ed Mishanski saw Angeles running.
He was tackled by the officers and resisted arrest, but was eventually
subdued. Massey was later arrested by officer Thomas Nahill. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Angeles is charged with robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery,
theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault and criminal mischief. He was
arraigned Monday before District Justice Michael Dotzel and taken to the
Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $30,000 straight bail. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Massey was arraigned before Dotzel on a charge of criminal conspiracy to
commit robbery. She was taken to the prison for lack of $2,000 straight bail. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
