State Rep. John T. Yudichak, D-Nanticoke, on behalf of the Yudichak Family
Lighthouse Fund of the Luzerne Foundation, recently presented a check to the
officials of the Mill Memorial Library. The Yudichak Family Lighthouse Fund
was created by Yudichak in honor of his parents, Joseph and Sarah, and his six
siblings. Funds are raised through an annual reception and proceeds from the
John Nareski Memorial Golf Tournament. The 2004 reception was made possible by
the sponsorship support of Alden Manor, Glen Carbonic and Blasi Printing. The
2004 golf tournament was made possible through the efforts of Gene Valanski,
Mary Ann Jarolen and the Nareski family. From the left are Sandra Silvey,
