Mr. and Mrs. Charles Alfano, West Pittston, announce the approaching
marriage of their daughter Joanne Marie to James John Hassay, son of Mr. and
Mrs. John Hassay, Inkerman. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Mr. Hassay is the grandson of Sophia Swaditch. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ms. Alfano is a 1993 graduate of Wyoming Area High School and received a
bachelor of arts degree in early childhood and elementary education from
King's College. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She is employed as therapeutic staff support at Children's Behavioral
Health Services. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Mr. Hassay is a 1995 graduate of Pittston Area High School. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He is employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The couple will exchange vows Jan. 14, 2006, at Immaculate Conception
Church, West Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
