Wilkes-Barre zoners approve luxury apartment development for Parsons

The developer of the proposed Hotel Sterling project in downtown Wilkes-Barre received zoning approval Wednesday to renovate a former school used as a construction company’s office into luxury apartments and build a new 10-unit apartment next to it on Matson Avenue in the city’s Parsons section.
