Tobyhanna Depot Employees Set The Standard

David Kern of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township, has won the 2009 Eastern Pennsylvania Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year Award, according to the Small Business Administration&rsquo;s Philadelphia District Office. Kern provides counseling and technical assistance to businesses regarding selling to the VA and federal government programs for small businesses. Kern was nominated for the award by Edward J. Kowalczyk Jr., assistant director of the Wilkes University Small Business Development Center. From left: G.
