Judge picked to review Ciavarella juvenile cases

KENNETH C. COLES SR., 63, of Main Street, Duryea, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. Born in West Avoca on May 24, 1945, he was a son of the late Harold and Edith (Gordon) Coles Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Coles Jr. and William Coles. Surviving is his wife of 46 years, the former Rose Melucci; sons, William, Washington, D.C.; Ronald, Duryea; Anthony, Scranton, Patrick, Forest City, and Kenneth Jr., Avoca; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, Ronald Coles, Wilkes-Barre.
