WILKES-BARRE &mdash; The latest Department of Health report on Tuesday showed 147 new cases of COVID-19 in Luzerne County and two new deaths. The death count is at 774.
				The new report brings the county&rsquo;s total cases to 28,488 since the pandemic began last year.
				Neighboring Lackawanna County has 16,539 cases and 445 deaths; Monroe County has 12,605 cases and 294 deaths.
				The Department of Health confirmed that as of Tuesday there were 6,638 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 1,082,062.
				Statewide positivity for the week of April 2&#8211;April 8 stood at 9.5%.
				According to the CDC, as of Tuesday morning, April 13, Pennsylvania has administered first doses of vaccine to 39.5% of its eligible population, and the state ranks 11th among all 50 states for first doses administered by percentage of population.
