WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Township police are asking for public assistance in identifying a man who they say stole a tool kit from Lowe’s Home Improvement over a week ago.

The Wilkes-Barre Township Police Department released three surveillance photos of the suspect, who allegedly was involved in a theft of a Dewalt toolkit valued at $399.99 on April 2 at the Lowe’s store in the Arena Hub Plaza.

Police say that the man took the kit off the shelf and left the store on foot. He fled in what officers described as a silver Chevy Suburban.
