First Posted: 8/8/2013 FOSTER TWP. - State police at Hazleton say about 500 brass veteran cemetery markers were stolen from St. Ann&#8217;s Cemetery Wednesday night into Thursday.
The markers designated veterans&#8217; burial sites for those who served in World War I, World War II, Korean War and the Vietnam War.
State police estimated the value of the stolen markers in excess of $10,000.
Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call state police at Hazleton at 459-3890.
