Nuangola councilman threatens foreclosures

First Posted: 2/16/2015 NANTICOKE &#8212; Police are seeking information regarding an incident Sunday which occurred in the 1200 block of South Hanover Street in which Donald Cox, 79, was bitten by a white, brown and black pit bull, causing serious injury.
Cox was on the front porch of his home when bitten, police said.
The dog was accompanied by a white male wearing a black knit cap, who informed Cox he would return with information regarding the dog&#8217;s immunizations, but did not. The man and the dog were last seen walking west on Enterprise Street.
Cox remains hospitalized, police said.
City police are working on the investigation in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture&#8217;s Dog Warden. Any one with information about the attack is asked to call the Nanticoke police department at 570-735-2200 or by dialing 911.
