SWOYERSVILLE &mdash; A man from Dallas identified as a suspect in a string of burglaries in multiple municipalities was captured Tuesday night.
				State police at Wilkes-Barre reported Nicholas Andrew Jamilowski, 31, of Washington Street, was caught by Swoyersville police.
				Jamilowski and Joseph Franklin McManus, 28, of Hanover Township, teamed up to burglarize two homes in Laflin on April 15, and are suspected of ransacking homes in West Wyoming.
				McManus was arrested by West Wyoming police during a traffic stop Saturday, which led investigators to recover items stolen from homes in Laflin and West Wyoming in recent weeks, according to court records.
				Several stolen items allegedly taken by Jamilowski were recovered from behind the closed state police barracks in Wyoming.
				According to the criminal complaint:
				A homeowner on Manchester Drive and a homeowner on Fordham Street, both in Laflin, reported Friday their residences had been burglarized.
				State police said an estimated $9,400 in tools and other valuables were stolen from the Manchester Drive home and jewelry was stolen from the Fordham Street residence.
				A day after the Laflin burglaries, West Wyoming police stopped a Jeep towing a trailer in the area of Fairview and Shoemaker streets Saturday. The Jeep and trailer were recorded on surveillance cameras near the scenes of several burglaries in West Wyoming.
				The driver of the Jeep fled the scene after a crash while the passenger, McManus, was arrested after a short foot chase, the complaint says.
				After McManus&rsquo; arrest, state police learned items stolen during residential burglaries in the area were kept at a garage on Scarboro Street, Exeter, inside a room where McManus was staying at Wilkes-Barre Lodge on Kidder Street, Wilkes-Barre, and behind the closed state police barracks in Wyoming, according to the complaint.
				State police served search warrants at the Exeter garage and McManus&rsquo; motel room allegedly recovering stolen items.
				McManus was charged Saturday for his alleged role in the Laflin burglaries. He remains jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $100,000 bail.
				Jamilowski was arraigned Wednesday on charges related to the Laflin burglaries including burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property and four counts of criminal conspiracy. He was jailed for lack of $100,000 bail.
				Court records say Jamilowski is facing numerous burglary related offenses in county court for taking part in a ransacking spree in Nanticoke and Newport Township in 2019 and 2020. Jamilowski was released on bail on those multiple cases, court records show.
