Nick Biasi tossed six shutout innings to lead Hazleton Area over Wilkes-Barre Area 12-0 Friday in Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 baseball.
				Biasi struck out 10 batters and walked none while allowing six hits. Luke Russo led the offense, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
				Darren Clarke went 2-for-3 to lead Wilkes-Barre Area.
				Pittston Area 14, Berwick 7
				The Patriots defeated Berwick behind a 3-for-5 performance from Devon Markert. He had a double, triple and three RBI. P.J. Pisano also went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
				Adam Anderson went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Berwick.
				SOFTBALL
				Nanticoke Area 20, Wyo. Seminary 2 (3 inn.)
				The Trojans blew past Wyoming Seminary behind a monster game from Tiffany Brogan. At the plate, she went 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored and four RBI. In the circle she threw all three innings while striking out six.
				Crestwood 9, Hanover Area 4
				The Comets used a seven-run seventh inning to defeat Hanover Area. Allison Babula led Crestwood at the plate, going 4-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Victoria Butler went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
				Kasidy Slusser went 2-for-3 to lead Hanover Area.
				Holy Redeemer 10, Wyoming Area 4
				Akira Kopec doubled and had three RBI to help the Royals get past Wyoming Area.
				Lynzie Skoronski and Kendra Santuk had three hits each.
				Kate Slusser doubled and Jocelyn Williams and Melania Mezzeo had an RBI each for Wyoming Area.

				Dallas took care of Wyoming Area with singles wins from Dan Flynn, Danny Dudick and Steven Miller. Doubles wins came from Ivan Derome/Jason Toshi and Lucas Carver/Tommy Pierce.

				The Comets swept Wilkes-Barre Area behind singles wins from Ben Ziegler, Julien Lacoste and Kurt Grenzburg. Alex Covelens/Noah Partington and Brayden Fenwick/Ryan Kostiuk won a doubles match.

				Lake-Lehman 18, Selinsgrove 2
				Lake-Lehman used a seven-point game (five goals, two assists) from Lilian Raczkowski and a six point game (five goals, one assist) from Rachel Shook.
				Ally Butcher and Abby Times each scored a goal for Selinsgrove.

				North Pocono 12, Wilkes-Barre Area 3
				Jack Senape, Ian Garthery and Mikey Senape each scored a goal for Wilkes-Barre Area in a loss to North Pocono.
				Aiden Evans had six points (three goals, three assists) and Will Soma had five points (four goals, one assist) to lead North Pocono.
				Wyoming Seminary 19, Holy Redeemer 3
				Cooper Wood had nine points (three goals, six assists) and Jack Herron had seven points (two goals, five assists) to lead Wyoming Seminary past Holy Redeemer.
				Nate Smith scored three goals for the Royals.
				Delaware Valley 21, Wyoming Area 3
				Nate Melnick led Delaware Valley with nine points (eight goals, one assist) in a win over Wyoming Area.
				TJ Kearns had three goals to lead the Warriors.

				The Spartans defeated Hazleton Area in five sets 25-17, 21-25, 25-17, 20-25, 15-13.
				The Cougars were led by Wilbel Delgado&rsquo;s seven kills, three digs, four aces and 19 service points.

				Delaware Valley swept the Black Knights 25-12, 25-10, 25-6.
				Chris U&rsquo;glay had four kills, eight service points and one ace for Delaware Valley.

				Matthieu Brunelle was a double-winner for the Misericordia at the Misericordia Invitational.
