More than 200 former players, coaches, managers, administrators and booster club members gathered to celebrate 80 years of GAR football on Friday night at Genetti Hotel &amp; Conference Center in Wilkes-Barre. Among those who attended the event were John Rowlands, Charlie Fick and Tony Khalife, who served as head coaches for more than 40 combined years at GAR. Some of the former players who attended traveled from as far away as Arizona.
