Christ, not consumerism, is true meaning of season
The meaning of Christmas is Jesus Christ. Yet &ldquo;happy holidays&rdquo; is the theme sometimes heard, instead of &ldquo;merry Christmas.&rdquo;
If the meaning of Christ is dead, then why even have a Christmas? Americans need another holiday like a hole in the head. Those who are trying to destroy the true meaning and make the birth of the savior into another spending spree of buying items you already have and don&rsquo;t need, should look at the large picture.
Department stores that shy away from the Jesus Christ issue should not sell any Christmas items. 
Merry Christmas to all.
Forget the fancy platform, he&rsquo;ll just take the money
Well, I&rsquo;ve finally decided to run for office, but not for president. I want to get elected to where the real power is: Congress.
Or, at least, the Pennsylvania Legislature.
 Actually by &ldquo;power,&rdquo; I mean money. I mean, where else do you get to rake in so much money while in office, serve a term and retire at full pay or nearly so, then become a lobbyist and make even more money?
My slogan is &ldquo;A vote for me, is a vote for me.&rdquo; I&rsquo;m for truth in campaigning.
After I get elected, I promise to be as truthful as any other legislator. I promise to be for anything you want me to be for during my campaign. In fact, I&rsquo;ll be for and against the same things, if you want.
I&rsquo;m announcing my candidacy now so as not to be too far behind everyone else who&rsquo;s running. After all, the incumbents campaign nonstop, so I don&rsquo;t want them to get too far ahead.
