&ldquo;Getting Pulled Over.&rdquo; &ldquo;Running from a bear.&rdquo; Well, now you&rsquo;ll not only be able to read all of the sordid details of their lives, you&rsquo;ll be able to watch them too.
The fancifully named Looxcie wearable Bluetooth camera promises to bring the phenomenon of &ldquo;lifecasting&rdquo; (that is, broadcasting every waking moment of your life to the Internet) into the mainstream, or something near it. Yes, you too can now have your own reality show.
I guess the only question is who will be watching? 
Perhaps an even more pointed question is in order. With cellphone-based still cameras causing more than enough problems on their own, is adding small, easily concealed, readily available cameras to the mix really the wisest idea?
Setting the philosophical questions aside for a moment, the device itself is actually pretty neat. It&rsquo;s lightweight, and sleek enough that it won&rsquo;t transform you into some cybernetic monster. Locutus-of-Borg wannabes need not apply. Despite its miniscule size the Looxcie actually manages to produce a decent picture &ndash; oh, and it can serve as a Bluetooth earpiece too; a pretty good one actually, seeing as how it offers more than 10 hours of talk time, more than anything else on the market at this point. 
For us normal people, it could come in handy as well; say you need a video record of something but don&rsquo;t want to miss out on the fun &ndash; now, you don&rsquo;t need to. For bike-riders, joggers, marathon runners, even the police or military, this has dozens of potential applications.
The $199 price tag is pretty reasonable for a device that offers such capabilities &ndash; the device is currently compatible with Android and, if you buy the updated Looxcie LX1, it&rsquo;s compatible with iPhones running iOS 4.2 and up.
