On Oct. 18, 2013, at the Nanticoke vs. Lake-Lehman football game a check was presented to Dr. Greenwald&#8217;s Oncology Assistance Fund to help cancer patients pay for prescriptions and other items they might need. The amount raised was $9,181.20.
We thank everyone who helped with our Cancer Awareness Night senior project.
First, we thank Amanda Bruza and Annmarie Coughlin; without their help this project would never have happened. Their cooperation and guidance was beyond generous.
We thank the 12th Man Booster Club, coach Ron Bruza, the Trojan football team and our parents for all of their help and hard work. We thank Mr. Perrone, Mrs. Jarolen and the Greater Nanticoke Area School Board for supporting this project.
We also thank the students and teachers at GNA, especially Mrs. Brown, for their support and hard work with selling, organizing and delivering the T-shirts. It was a huge undertaking, and we appreciate all of you.
