First Posted: 1/28/2014 Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA extends congratulations to member Marty Klein, as he was inducted into the Meyers High School Hall of Fame. He joined Gregg Allabaugh, Sam Elias and Robyn Jones as honored inductees. Klein excelled in basketball, baseball and football at Meyers. He then joined the Columbia (Tenn.) Military Academy, where he played varsity football and baseball. He entered the U.S. Marine Corps in 1958 and played varsity football for three years before a permanent injury forced him to give up the sport.
