HAZLETON &#8212; Police Saturday arrested a New Jersey man wanted on attempted homicide and unlawful possession of a handgun charges after a traffic stop.Luis Polanco, 25, of Patterson, New Jersey was wanted on a warrant from Passaic County, police said.Polanco and Adelso Hernandez Jr., 24, Winters Avenue, West Hazleton were in a Honda Civic stopped for traffic, vehicle and loud music violations just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of West Diamond Avenue and Garfield Street, police said.A warrant was issued for Hernandez by Hazleton police for failure to appear on a charge of loitering and prowling at night.The two men were transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility and held on the warrants.
