HANOVER TWP. &#8212; Police said charges were filed against John James Vetter, 44, of Wilkes-Barre after he stole approximately $830 worth of tools and equipment from the Tractor Supply Store on the Sans Souci Parkway Friday afternoon.The store manager reported Vetter took a Briggs &amp; Stratton 4,000 psi gas-powered pressure washer and a 12-piece crescent wrench set without paying for them at approximately 4:40 p.m., police said. Vetter was apprehended in front of the store, police said. The merchandise that was hidden along the exterior of the property was recovered by employees, police said.Vetter was taken into custody and arraigned by District Judge Joseph Halesey, Hanover Township on charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property. Vetter was committed to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.
