First Posted: 3/27/2014 Brian E. McHugh, of Kingston, has announced a planned estate gift to the Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Memorial Library at the University of Scranton in memory of his mother, the late Helen Gallagher McHugh.
The Weinberg Memorial Library&#8217;s Special Collections will be named the Helen Gallagher McHugh Special Collections in memory of Brian McHugh&#8217;s mother, a Kingston native who resided in Plymouth. McHugh has been appointed to the library&#8217;s advisory board.
McHugh, a business development field consultant, earned his master&#8217;s degree in psychology from the university in 1959. He is a member of The Friends of the Weinberg Library, the Schemel Forum and the Luzerne County Historical Society.
