20 years ago - 1995The Lake-Lehman Boys&#8217; Volleyball Team recently captured first place in the Luzerne County Recreation Department&#8217;s 1995 Boys Underclassmen Volleyball Tournament. Team members are: J.J. Kopko, George Frank, Ryan Bombick, Jeremy Baranowski, Mike Tribendis, Jeff Castellano, Phillip Snyders and R.J Brooks.Winners have been announced in the Dallas Middle School International Poster Contest, &#8220;There&#8217;s a World Outside Dallas.&#8221; Every seventh grade student submitted a poster for their language or world cultures class. In seventh grade, the winner for best overall was Heather Vodzak. Norah Krakosky won for most artistic. Best presentation theme award went to Chris Pratz. In eighth grade, the winners were Tom Zaro for Best Overall, Becky Muller for most artistic, and Ann Marie Carey for best presentation of theme.30 years ago - 1985The Harveys Lake Lions Club installed three new members at their last regular meeting held at Rich and Charlotte&#8217;s, Harveys Lake.
