Federal prosecutors seek protective order in Leo Glodzik case

TUNKHANNOCK &#8212; Plans are well underway at Tunkhannock Business and Professional Women (BPW) for Wine Down 2015 set for Thursday May 7.The event features a night at the movies at the historic Dietrich Theater in downtown Tunkhannock. In addition to the movie, there will be wine, finger foods desserts, and door prizes. This year&#8217;s movie will be &#8220;And So It Goes&#8221;, a 2014 romantic comedy drama starring Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton.Tickets are available in advance from BPW members or at the door at a cost of $20 per person. Doors open at the Dietrich Theater for the festivities at 6:15 p.m. and the movie starts at 7:30 p.m.For more information, call 570-836-3924.This event is one of the major fund-raising events undertaken annually by Tunkhannock BPW, a chapter of BPW PA, an organization dedicated to promoting full participation, equity and economic self-sufficiency for America&#8217;s working women.In recognition of the mission of the organization to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information, proceeds from Wine Down 2015 will benefit the Fran Coleman Memorial Scholarship for Tunkhannock Area High School seniors, the Girl Scout Scholarship fund and non-profit organizations within the community that provide support to women and children.The Tunkhannock BPW chapter currently meets on the second Monday of each month at the Moose Lodge in Tunkhannock.
