Letter to the Editor: Curb drug violence in Wilkes-Barre with handgun limits

Several weeks ago, I had the misfortune of having an automobile accident at the intersection of Highland Park Boulevard and the Interstate 81 access. I had never had an accident before.I looked up to notice the front end of my car was crunched toward my windshield. Steam and fluid bubbled from the area of the radiator, the fender and headlight were crushed and the fans and belts were just hanging.As I was fumbling through the glove box for my phone numbers, a very kind lady, named Mary Ellen, came to my window to see if I was injured. Fortunately, I had no injuries but I was nervous.We started to make the appropriate calls when the Wilkes-Barre Township police arrived. The officer was extremely courteous and proceeded to organize this event, including calling for the tower. The officer&#8217;s name was Cottrell.When Mark from Ayers Towers arrived, he coordinated the next move to Wyoming Valley Motors body shop. Mark took every effort to help me. I have used Ayers previously and received excellent service.My vehicle was repaired under the guidance of Bryce Vandenberg. These people went above and beyond expectation. The car was repaired and is back to its original state. I have purchased cars at Wyoming Valley Motors for 15 years with much satisfaction.Thank you to everyone.Ellen TrentNanticoke
