‘Fabulous Fable Factory’ will be presented by Music Box Players

TUNKHANNOCK &#8212; Plans are well underway at Tunkhannock Business and Professional Women (BPW) for Wine Down 2015 to be held Thursday, May 7. The event features a night at the movies at the Dietrich Theater.This year&#8217;s movie is &#8220;And So It Goes,&#8221; a 2014 romantic comedy drama starring Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton. In addition to the movie, there will be wine, finger foods, desserts and door prizes.This event is one of the major fund-raising events undertaken annually by Tunkhannock BPW, a chapter of BPW PA, an organization dedicated to promoting full participation, equity and economic self-sufficiency for America&#8217;s working women.In recognition of the mission of the organization to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information, the proceeds from Wine Down 2015 will benefit the Fran Coleman Memorial Scholarship for Tunkhannock Area High School seniors, the Girl Scout Scholarship fund and non-profit organizations within the community that provide support to women and children.Tickets are available in advance from BPW members or at the door for $20 per person.
