First Posted: 6/2/2014 WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A three-vehicle crash on Monday morning involving a van with school students resulted in no injuries.
Crews were called to the intersection of Pennsylvania Boulevard and Hazle Street at approximately 7:10 a.m. Investigating officers on the scene said a school van and an SUV were traveling west on Pennsylvania Boulevard. A driver in a coupe was traveling south on Hazle Street, when officers say the driver ran a red light and struck the two vehicles.
Pennsylvania Boulevard between Hazle Street and Dana Street was closed as vehicles were towed from the scene.
Police say a driver sustained minor cuts from the crash, but no other injuries were reported. Wilkes-Barre Police were assisted on the scene by the Wilkes-Barre Fire Department.
