Lackawanna Trail graduate named to conference All-Sportsmanship Team at Keystone College in softball

ASTON &#8212; Three Keystone College softball players were honored April 28 when the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) announced its 2015 softball end of the year awards, as voted upon by the league&#8217;s 12 head coaches.These awards include Player, Pitcher, Rookie and Coach of the Year, as well as First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention All-CSAC and the All-Sportsmanship Team. Emily Long was named Second Team All-Conference, Karissa Worobey was selected to the Honorable Mention All-Conference squad, and Lackawanna Trail graduate Kaitlyn Sawicki was picked to the CSAC All-Sportsmanship Team.Sawicki was selected to the CSAC All-Sportsmanship Team for the second time in her career. The senior infielder started all 32 games on the season and batted .277 with 26 hits including five doubles and two home runs while scoring 13 runs and driving in 12 runs. Sawicki also posted a .960 fielding percentage at first base and finished her career second all-time in career home runs in Keystone history after hitting a solo home run in the final at-bat of her collegiate career April 26 against the University of Scranton.
