First Posted: 7/29/2014 LARKSVILLE &#8212; A motorcyclist cited with multiple vehicle code violations allegedly yelled and screamed at an officer, calling him a &#8220;super local cop&#8221; and saying he would &#8220;make big money&#8221; because of the officer.
Larksville K-9 Officer Joshua Evans was on routine patrol Friday night when he spotted someone driving a black motorcycle with an expired registration on West Luzerne Avenue at about 8:15 p.m., according to police.
Evans initiated a traffic stop near Nu-Mart on East State Street, and the operator was identified as James Horchos, of Pittston, police said.
Horchos provided a vehicle registration card and insurance card, both of which were Evans said were expired.
And a check of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation records revealed that Horchos didn&#8217;t have the required motorcycle endorsement on his driver&#8217;s license, police said.
According to Evans&#8217; report, Horchos began to yell and scream at the officer, accusing him of being &#8220;super local cop.&#8221;
When Horchos was advised that his motorcycle would be towed because of the violations, Horchos told Evans he was going to get an attorney and &#8220;make big money because of you,&#8221; police said.
The motorcycle was towed from the scene, and Horchos was cited with multiple motor vehicle code violations, police said.
