WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police Saturday said a woman spit on a officer during her booking on a driving under the influence charge.Tresa Distasio, 31, of Front Street, Pittston, will also face a charge of aggravated harassment by a prisoner, police said.It was the second time this week that police said someone in custody spit on someone else.Kingston police said Malika Elam Bell, 28, an inmate at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility spit on Times Leader photographer Aimee Dilger after Bell&#8217;s arraignment Thursday on drug trafficking charges. Bell was arraigned Friday on aggravated harassment and disorderly conduct charges. Her bail was set at $50,000.According to Wilkes-Barre police: Officers on patrol stopped Distasio for a traffic violation at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of South Main and Academy streets. Distasio was highly intoxicated and arrested on suspicion of DUI. She refused to take a legal breath test and was charged with DUI - Incapable of Safe Driving. During her booking at police headquarters she became combative and spit on an officer. She was transported to the county prison for an overnight arraignment.
