During the past few weeks, I have been following the inspections of restaurants, grocery stores and other public places. It is sad to see what the public is exposed to.I know, for a fact, many times I use the restroom to wash my hands and there is no paper towel. The same, I&#8217;m sorry to say, for toilet paper. I have gotten to the point of taking my own in a baggie.Restaurants, especially, should dust their fans and wood molding in the dining rooms.Months ago, I was in a restaurant eating and one of the waiters started to sweep the rug. A few tables away from ours, there was a woman who started yelling at the waiter for sweeping while she was eating. When he kept on sweeping, she got up and left the restaurant. I have to agree; cleaning and sweeping should be done when a section is closed. Incidentally, the restaurant I mentioned above is now closed.Another gripe I have is when the hostess stands at the register and is forever playing with her hair. It&#8217;s gross.Shirley A.
