EDWARDSVILLE &#8212; A man is facing drug charges after reports of shots fired on Saturday night resulted in police finding over $20,000 and over a pound of marijuana inside of a residence on Rice Avenue.Willie Garcia, 46, of Rice Avenue, is facing charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, prohibited possession of a firearm, terroristic threats, propulsion of a missile into an occupied vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver.Police responded to a report of shots fired at a vehicle in the area of Rice Avenue at approximately 10:50 p.m. Saturday night. A woman in the area told police that she heard two loud pops as she was pulling away in her vehicle, and reportedly noticed Garcia behind her vehicle.Officers at the scene found a spent shell casing at the scene, and what appeared to be a bullet hole and flat rear tire on the woman&#8217;s vehicle.Police obtained a search warrant for Garcia&#8217;s residence, where they found $22,000 in cash and over one pound of marijuana. Police also allegedly found a loaded 9 mm handgun, scales and other drug paraphernalia inside the residence.A news release indicates that Garcia is currently lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $77,500 bail.
