Christian Pack&#8217;s bases-loaded single in the sixth inning jump-started Hanover&#8217;s six-run outburst in a 10-9 win over MMI Prep in WVC baseball on Monday.The Preppers loaded the bases in the seventh inning, but a 4-6-3 double play, followed by a fly to right field left the tying run stranded on third.Hanover&#8217;s Pack went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. John Morgan recorded a double (2-4) with 3 RBI and Jake Peters was 1 for 2 with a double and 1 RBI.Sam Harman finished with two doubles for MMI Prep.Northwest 11, Meyers 1Derek Price scattered eight hits and allowed just one run as Northwest clings to life in the Wyoming Valley Conference Division 3 race in a game that was shortened to six innings.Brandon Reno had three hits, scored three runs and added an RBI in the Rangers&#8217; victory. Nick Long and Eric Evans each had an extra-base hit among their two hits and both players finished with two RBI and scored two runs in the victory.Paul Fox drove home the only run for Meyers, while Keith Ostrowski and Colin Pasone both went 2 for 3.Berwick 9, Tunkhannock 5Blake Eisenhauer went 3 for 3 and drove home two runs and Berwick never relinquished a 6-0 lead it grabbed in the bottom of the first inning.Jordan Divalerio shut out Tunkhannock for six innings on three hits. He struck out six before giving way to the Berwick bullpen for the final frame.Robbie Palermo also drove home two runs for the Bulldogs, while Jared Marshman and Zach Andress both went 2 for 2 and scored a run.Hazleton Area 4, Coughlin 1Ryan Heller pitched a complete-game four-hitter for the Cougars, striking out four.
