Waverly Community House to hold annual Comm Classic Golf Tournament

WAVERLY &#8212; The Waverly Community House will hold the 19th Annual Comm Classic Golf Tournament on Friday, May 29 at Stonehedge Country Club in Tunkhannock.The tournament will be captain and crew format and feature gross score prizes, raffle prizes, a $2,500 putting competition, a $10,000 and $50,000 Hole-In-One prize, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner buffet and live auction. The registration fee of $150 entitles each golfer to eligibility to win one of several major prizes. Registration begins at 10 a.m. with an 11 a.m. shotgun start. Friends and family may join the golfers afterward for cocktails and dinner at a cost of $45 per person.This year&#8217;s Comm Classic is chaired by Thomas Coleman and Stacey Ossenfort and is sponsored by the following: BDA Architects, Butler&#8217;s Sunoco Service Station, Cawley, Johnson &amp; Sanders PC, Doherty Benefits, Grace and Tom Hillebrand, Lackawanna Mobile X-Ray, Manci Insurance, Northeast Rail, Northeastern Rehabilitation Associates PC, Peoples Security Bank, PNC Bank, R.
