DORRANCE TWP.: Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 7768 Blue Ridge Trail, Mountain Top, is hosting a talent show and auction 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 16. Local performers will showcase their talents and an auction will be held between performances. Auction items include paintings, photographs, hand-crafted quilts and needlework, baked goods and more. Refreshments will also be available. He will speak at all the Masses and return to the main site at 7:30 p.m. for his talk &#8220;Get Out Of The Boat.&#8221; Prayer and worship will follow 8:30-9:30 p.m. at the main site. He will speak on Sunday, June 7, at all the Masses and will give an additional talk 12:45-1:45 p.m., with a follow-up lunch and time for questions beginning at 2 p.m.PLYMOUTH: North Anthracite Council, League of Ukrainian Catholics (LUC) will meet on Sunday, June 7, at SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 20 Nottingham Street. The cost is $35 per person and includes an instructor-led class, paints, smocks, brushes, easels and canvases. The Little Sisters will provide a snack and non-alcoholic beverages. Attendees can bring their own wine and snacks. Seating is limited. All proceeds will be used to replace windows in Holy Family Residence.
