Gamel gets it done for RailRiders

Nick Noonan doubled home Austin Romine with the go-ahead run in the top of the 11th inning, triggering a four-run rally that carried the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders to an 8-4 victory over the Durham Bulls on Friday in Durham.Romine drew a walk to give the RailRiders life in the 11th, then Noonan followed with his run-scoring double.Cole Figueroa added an RBI double later in the 11th inning against his former team, and Ben Gamel finished off the extra-inning scoring spree with a two-run single.Jacob Lindgren, the fourth RailRiders pitcher of the night, picked up the victory by striking out four batters over 2 2/3 innings.Durham tied the game in the bottom of the eighth inning when Eugenio Velez scored on a bases-loaded walk, eventually forcing the game to extra innings even at 4-4.Gamel finished with three RBIs in the game, while Romine drove home two runs.
