Retired teacher remembers husband in ‘Larry’s Garden’

HAZLETON &#8212; Police are investigating an early morning hit-and-run crash in the area of 1136 W. 11th St.Officers responded to a report of the accident shortly after 5:30 a.m. Saturday. They determined a green Honda Accord traveling east on the roadway struck two legally parked cars and fled. Several pieces of debris were found at the scene and police are looking for a green Honda Accord made between 1998 and 2000 missing its front bumper. The Honda also might have damage to its passenger side, police said.A Buick Century owned by Anita Bye sustained damage to the entire driver&#8217;s side and a Subaru Forester owned by Phillip Greco had damage to the rear on the driver&#8217;s side, police said.Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Hazleton police at 570 459-4940.
