<b>First Posted:</b> 6/30/2007<br><br>DALLAS TWP. &amp;ndash; College Misericordia&amp;rsquo;s annual Career Exploration Summer Camps for high school juniors and seniors began June 24, allowing soon-to-be college students insight into various professional fields. 

The Career Exploration Summer Camps gave students firsthand experience in marketing, advertising, communications, biology, occupational therapy or speech-language pathology in various laboratory, clinical, class room and field settings
Colleges and universities are using tools like these to introduce prospective students to these challenging majors, said Paul Krzywicki, public relations coordinator for College Misericordia.
&amp;ldquo;The students get to experience their potential majors before enrolling in school,&amp;rdquo; Krzywicki said. &amp;ldquo;It could also save them money and time by determining they prefer another major or it could even reinforce they are going in the right direction. Everybody knows how expensive an advanced degree is nowadays so anyway a student can save money, benefits students and parents alike.&amp;rdquo;
