Parents win $6.2M verdict in malpractice suit

WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Timothy David Bozek Sr., 61, of Wyoming, was found guilty Wednesday of 10 counts of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility in Luzerne County Court.The verdict came down after a two-day jury trial before Judge Tina Polachek Gartley.Public defender Mark Singer said Bozek continues to maintain his innocence. His office, he said, would consider appealing the verdict if deemed appropriate.Polachek Gartley directed a pre-sentencing investigation be held by Luzerne County Probation and Parole.Sentencing is set for August 17.
