DALLAS TWP. &#8212; The public told the township Board of Supervisors on Tuesday night of the need for signage on a few roads.Mike Robak, a resident of Camp Ground Hill Road, requested speed limit signs to be posted at the entrance to the road, citing several instances of speeding in recent months.Tim Muldoon, a resident of Ryman Road, also requested a speed limit sign, as well as a notice warning of a sharp curve at the intersection of Ryman, a gravel road, and Eddinger&#8217;s Hill Road. Muldoon said there had been an accident at the site a few weeks ago, and brought up the possibility of lowering the speed limit to 25 mph.Supervisors said they would discuss the placement of signage at Camp Ground Hill Road with the road master soon, but to meet Muldoon&#8217;s request a traffic study would need to be completed.The board also gave an update on summer road work. Township projects are behind by about two weeks due to unfavorable weather, but that the road department will continue to prep roads and has begun to look at storm drains. A pavement project on Grandview Avenue will begin next week.In other business, a resolution involving infrastructural and pavement work on Stredney Road was passed, which authorized Treasurer Nancy Balutis to deliver certification and a first payment of $71,114.62 for completion of 75 percent of the project.United Water Pennsylvania Inc. issued the township with a notification for a general use permit for two utility line stream crossings associated with the company&#8217;s Salla Well project .The board decided to remove playground equipment at Sago St. Park due to vandalism and wear from use over time.
