First Posted: 2/18/2014 WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Steve Stravinski scored 15 points for the Wilkes University men&#8217;s basketball team on Tuesday night, but it wasn&#8217;t enough as the Colonels dropped a 51-47 decision to DeSales in Freedom Conference action.
The Colonels trailed 24-20 at the half and that turned out to be the difference maker as both teams matched scores in the second half, 27-27.
Steve Stravinski was the only Colonel to score in double digits for Wilkes (8-15), which will host King&#8217;s (13-11) on Saturday.

Despite being down only 31-28, Wilkes was unable to stage a second half comeback in the loss to visiting DeSales.
Elena Stambone led the Lady Colonels with 19 points while Chelsea Brown contributed 16.
