Local Jewish community’s vision drew leader to area

&#8226; Police cited Anthony Skipalis, 54, of Wilkes-Barre, with consumption of alcohol on Public Square when he was allegedly spotted pouring a Natural Ice Beer into a coffee cup while sitting on a bench at about 11:20 a.m. Tuesday.
&#8226; Police charged Kaci Olson, 34, of Kent Lane, Wilkes-Barre, with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment after she allegedly struck her mother and bit her mother&#8217;s finger during a domestic disturbance inside their house on Tuesday. Olson was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $1,000 bail.
&#8226; Police charged Connie Mihalichko, 24, of Summit Street, Edwardsville, with retail theft and resisting arrest after she allegedly had stolen $974 worth of merchandise from Boscov&#8217;s Department Store on South Main Street on Tuesday. After being told she was being arrested, police said, she became combative.

Police file charges in variety of incidents
