First Posted: 6/28/2014 SCRANTON &#8212; U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright, D-Moosic, and his Republican challenger, Schuylkill County Coroner David Moylan have agreed to square off in two debates ahead of the Nov. 4 election.
One debate will take place Oct. 29, live from WVIA Public Media Studios in Pittston Township. The other has not yet been scheduled, but will broadcast from WLVT in Bethlehem.
Moylan is challenging Cartwright&#8217;s seat as representative of Pennsylvania&#8217;s 17th congressional district, which includes all of Schuylkill County as well as parts of Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe and Northhampton Counties.
