Two Sem teams reach semifinals

First Posted: 7/9/2014 The Wyoming Valley won&#8217;t see much of a break from the chance of rain today, but it doesn&#8217;t look like severe weather is in the forecast.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 71 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. under fair skies. Some patchy fog also lingered in certain areas.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted mainly after 4 p.m. today &#8212; otherwise, partly sunny skies are expected. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, but more could fall in thunderstorms. Today&#8217;s high will reach the mid 80s.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected before 10 p.m. tonight, followed by isolated showers until midnight. Overnight, mostly cloudy skies are expected, with a high in the upper 50s. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
Sunshine will finally make its return on Thursday, with a high in the lower 80s, followed by partly cloudy skies on Thursday night. Thursday night&#8217;s low will be in the upper 50s.
Sunny skies are expected once again on Friday, followed by clear skies on Friday night. Friday&#8217;s high will be in the mid 80s, while the night&#8217;s low will be in the lower 60s.
