First Posted: 10/15/2014 There are some areas of traffic in the Wyoming Valley this morning, but not enough to make for an unbearable morning commute.
Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 380 this morning. There are varying degrees of traffic reported on Interstate 476 in the north and southbound lanes. For those traveling to Wilkes-Barre from Scranton, some slight congestion is reported on Route 11 north of Scranton.
Some heavy congestion is reported on Route 315 near the I-81/I-476 interchange near Dupont. Near Wilkes-Barre, some minor congestion is reported on Route 315 and 115. Free-flowing traffic is reported on the North Cross Valley Expressway.
In Wilkes-Barre, minor traffic is reported on North River Street and Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Some heavy traffic is reported on South Main Street at the intersection with Academy and Hazle streets.
In Kingston, varying degrees of traffic are reported on Wyoming Avenue stretching up to Forty Fort.
