Teacher license suspended for Harrington-Cooper

First Posted: 10/21/2014 Gabriel and Arlene Spak recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Spak married the former Arlene Severnak on Oct. 23, 1954, at St. John the Baptist Church, Pittston, Pennsylvania. The ceremony was performed by the late Rev. John J. Bednarcik.
Mr. and Mrs. Spak have resided in Bear Creek Township, Pennsylvania, for nearly all 60 years of their marriage.
Mr. Spak is the son of the late Daniel and Ester Spak, Bear Creek Township, Pennsylvania. He is a retired self-employed contractor, Gabe Spak Builders Inc. He also worked for Bloom-Penn Contractors and Senate Construction Co.
Mrs. Spak is the daughter of the late George and Mary Severnak, Pittston, Pennsylvania. She worked at Consolidated Cigar Co. and more recently at Geisinger Medical Center in the dietary department.
They are the parents of Mrs. Kimberly Blazejewski married to David Blazejewski, Bear Creek Township, Pennsylvania. They have two grandchildren, Sara and Daniel Blazejewski.
The couple&#8217;s daughter and son-in-law hosted a party honoring the occasion. They were joined by family and lifelong friends.
